At Marsh View Kennels we are extremely proud of the high quality boarding facilities that we offer
Marsh View Kennels has three kennel blocks, with two being used all year round (little block, main block) and one only being used in the summer months when the weather is good (bottom block). Our main block contains thirteen kennels, with solid walls between dogs (inside and out) for those who prefer more privacy. Our little block contains just four kennels, due to its smaller size, we find quieter dogs prefer this block, along with those who are a bit more nervous. Our little block insides are seperated by solid walls, however, the outsides are meshed so it is also perfect for more social dogs who like to see their neighbours. Our bottom block is made up of six extra large kennels, due to its setup, we only tend to use these kennels in the summer months when the weather is good. All kennels have an inside and outside area, seperated by a secure hatch. This remains open at all times except during cleaning and overnight when the dogs are shut inside to sleep. Each kennel is cleaned thoroughly every morning and spot cleaned throughout the day.

Our inside areas have recently been updated with a brand new heating system. Each kennel is heated individually inside with a pet safe panel heater. In addition to this there are more heaters in the corridor areas to provide extra warmth when it's needed.

Each kennel has its own CCTV camera in the bedding area, with all outside areas CCTV monitored too. All buildings include fully integrated alarms and smoke detectors.

We have 5 large exercise fields. Each dog will be given the opportunity to freely exercise in one of these fields at least twice a day. We can also lead walk in the fields if preferred. All dogs are exercised individually, we never mix dogs unless they are from the same household. Each field is completely secure and well-maintained, with robust new fences having been recently installed. During the summer we set up paddling pools and ball pits for the dogs to play in during their time in the fields.

We also provide enrichment sessions for your dogs throughout the day, this can vary from kongs filled with treats to homemade pup ice creams on hot summer days!

We provide suitably sized plastic beds filled with comfortatable vet bedding/blankets in our inside areas. However, we encourage you to bring some of your dogs bedding from home as the familiar smell can help them settle in. We have a variety of different toys too but you are also welcome to bring any favourites from home.

We stock Arden Grange kibble and a variety of meats for your dog to have during their stay with us. If your dog is on a specialist diet or is prone to stomach upsets from changing foods then we recommend bringing their own food from home. We will feed your dog at them same times as they are used to. Please see our gallery for photos of our amazing facilities.
